The SkillBridge Data Science & Advanced Analytics Intern shall possess the following capabilities:
Training Areas:
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning model development.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) and semantic data structures.
- Knowledge Graphs, Ontologies, and Data Fabrics.
- Data transformation, cleaning, and visualization.
- Tools: Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Neo4j, TensorFlow, PyTorch, plus others.
What You'll Learn:
- Designing and deploying machine learning models.
- Structuring and connecting large datasets for complex analysis.
- Applying semantic technologies to improve data discovery.
- Creating interactive dashboards for decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Has served at least 180 days on active duty.
- Is within 180 days of separation or retirement.
- Will receive honorable discharge.
- Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS.
- Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months.
- Received Unit Commander authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of internship.
- NOTE: SkillBridge interns will not be eligible for any compensation during their internship, as they will continue to receive all military pay and benefits. Upon successful completion of this internship, you will be well prepared and encouraged to apply for open positions listed on our careers page.
