A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Cloud Network Engineer

Position type: Full Time Contract

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)

As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures within cloud (primarily AWS) and on-premises environments.
  • Configure and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and web application firewalls.
  • Implement and manage security tools for endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and security information and event management (SIEM).
  • Develop and enforce security policies to protect cloud and on-premises network infrastructure and data.
  • Monitor network traffic for anomalies and potential security threats, responding to incidents as needed.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure network connectivity and access.
  • Participate in the evaluation and integration of new security technologies to enhance the overall security posture.

Qualification:

  • Experience with network security devices and platforms such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint.
  • Hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions like Trellix and Sentinel One.
  • Proficiency in vulnerability management tools, specifically Tenable Nessus.
  • Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions like DTEX.
  • Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms, such as Swimlane.
  • Knowledge of cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools like Wiz.io.
  • Strong understanding and experience with AWS native security services including Security Hub and GuardDuty.
  • Experience with Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) including F5 WAF and AWS WAF.
  • Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and cloud-based security solutions like Zscaler.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment (AWS preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network and security issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $80-$85/Hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
