Job Details

Project Manager Location : Austin Texas Client : State of Texas Position is ONSITE at the location listed above (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position (Within a 50-mile radius). Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas Exp: Minimum 14+ Years of Experience as a Project Manager NOTE : Candidates Must Have Strong Working Experience with State Agencies

Important:

Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin, TX.
No out-of-state candidates or those planning to relocate will be considered.
Strong experience with State of Texas agencies is Preferred .
PMP certification is required and must be noted on the resume. Proof may be requested.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage multiple projects using project management best practices.
Develop and maintain project charters, statements of work, risk assessments, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate across related initiatives and lead special projects assigned by agency leadership.
Provide regular status updates and presentations to executive/senior management.
Facilitate meetings and problem-solving sessions to identify and implement process improvements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.
Analyze and report on technology, operational gaps, and project effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

14+ years of Project Management experience.
PMP certification required.
Proven success managing large-scale projects within State of Texas agencies.
Strong skills in project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and communication.
Ability to analyze complex problems and prepare concise, detailed reports.
Experience in developing project documentation, including budgets, work plans, and test plans.
Excellent teamwork, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
