Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end-user devices and applications. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for Windows 10 & 11 environments.
  • Support and administer Office 365 applications, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Assist with VOIP telephony systems (Teams & Cisco); experience with Cisco telephony is a plus.
  • Document incidents, requests, and resolutions in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues promptly.
  • Maintain strong customer service standards, ensuring positive user experiences.
  • Create and update technical documentation and user guides as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in desktop support or similar IT support role.
  • Hands-on expertise with Windows 10 & 11, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with VOIP systems; Cisco telephony experience is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in user-facing interactions.
  • Prior experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
