Procurement Expert and Solution Architect Location: Irvine, CA (Need local or candidates open to relocate.) Full Time Visa: No H1B Transfer
Job Description
The Procurement Expert and Solution Architect is responsible for all Ariba tracks Business Network for Supply Chain (BN4SC / SCC), Upstream (Sourcing, Contracts, SLP) and Downstream (Buying & Invoicing) and Business Network.
Your key areas of responsibilities will include:
Solution and integration design
Take lead in defining solution strategy and conducting workshops to gather customer requirements
Client interaction during entire project lifecycle
Resolve solutions related queries and issues
Ensure high customer satisfaction through on-time in-scope delivery of projects
Manage the work stream of the project team
Excellent documentation skills
Prepare detailed functional specs for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms
Guide business process and configuration design choices based on knowledge of Ariba capabilities and constraints
Conduct user training
Facilitate integration and user acceptance testing
Support business users with process or system issues
Qualifications
Thought leadership in Procurement and sourcing domain
5+ years of business experience in large organization in procurement and sourcing, vendor management and contracts management
8+ years of implementation experience in area of Ariba SCC, Ariba Sourcing, SLP/SIPM and Contracts space with minimum one implementation where upstream and downstream Ariba solutions were involved/in scope
3+ full cycle implementations experience as Solution Architect
Adept at designing and implementing solutions for clients using SAP Activate methodology
Must have knowledge of Ariba solutions, SAP MM and integrations
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
Procurement domain certifications (preferred)
