Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our PostgreSQL databases, both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS RDS). This role requires a strong emphasis on query tuning and development, along with collaboration with development teams to ensure efficient and effective database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance, stability, and security in both on-premises and AWS RDS environments.
• Perform advanced query tuning and optimization to enhance database performance.
• Develop and implement database monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to design, review, and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Develop and enhance database-related applications and tools.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database environments and processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience in database administration, including performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design.
• Experience with AWS RDS PostgreSQL and PostgreSQL running on Linux.
• Strong understanding of database security practices and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
