Sr. Mainframe Developer
Location: Onsite 880 Powder Mill Rd, Wilmington, DE, 19803
Work Mode: 5 days a week onsite (No remote or hybrid)
Job Summary
- We are seeking a Sr. Mainframe Developer for an onsite role in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS, and DB2 and must be willing to work on-site five days a week. This role requires a hands-on developer to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex banking applications. You will be responsible for preparing architecture documents, writing high-quality code, and collaborating with various teams to translate complex requirements into working solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS, and DB2.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in CICS Programming, including CICS Screen Programming.
- Mandatory coding experience in MQ Series and IMS DB.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Experience in Banking Compliance and Regulatory Platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
