Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Senior Mobile Network Solutions Consultant/Architect with deep expertise in end-to-end (E2E) 5G mobile networks, experience in field activities for mobile networks, and a strong track record in network automation and AI-driven transformation projects. This individual will play a key role in designing, architecting, and implementing next-generation network automation solutions that drive efficiencies from planning to deployment and operations in close collaboration with stakeholders across RAN, Core, OSS, and Transport domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive E2E 5G network transformation initiatives across RAN, Core, OSS, IP/Transport
  • Serve as a technical lead and problem solver on automation initiatives, including AI/ML and Generative AI applications
  • Act as a change agent by identifying opportunities for transformation and continuous improvement
  • Interface with stakeholders (engineering, operations, product teams, OEMs) to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Create and present architecture documents, HLDs/LLDs, and technical proposals with strong communication and articulation
  • Support DevOps integration, cloud-native deployments, and Agile project delivery frameworks

Required Experience & Skills

5G Network Expertise

  • 10+ years in mobile network domain, with recent experience in 5G network architecture
  • Deep understanding of RAN, 5GC, IP/Transport, and OSS
  • Strong knowledge of field activities in mobile network, e.g. site design, build, field operations, and how the services work is performed for various functions.
  • Hands-on exposure to E2E call/session flows and interfaces

Automation & AI

  • Proven experience in driving network automation initiatives
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and Gen AI use cases in network operations (e.g., anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, automated RCA)

Cloud & Agile

  • Understanding of cloud-native network functions (CNFs), container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience working with public or private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OpenStack)
  • Exposure to Agile/SAFe, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform) is a strong plus

OEM & Operator Experience

  • Experience working with or integrating Nokia, Ericsson, or other major OEMs
  • Prior knowledge of T-Mobile USA network architecture, processes, or tooling is highly preferred

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Self-starter, proactive, and collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Certifications in 5G, cloud platforms, or Agile methodologies are a plus
  • Experience working with T-Mobile USA in the field, ie markets/ region.
