Description: Our large, FINTECH client is currently seeking a Data Scientist (1+ Year Contract/Hybrid) in Malvern, PA.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Develops queries and performs extensive programming to access, transform, and prepare data for modeling using Python
- Performs deep dive diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to support data-driven business decision making
- Identifies and diagnoses data inconsistencies and errors, documents data assumptions, and forages to fill data gaps
- Perform as a software developer and integrator as part of a development team
- Develop Machine Learning (ML) applications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science Statistics, or related field
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Programming languages: Python, R
- Database technologies: SQL, No SQL
- Big Data Solutions: Spark, Hadoop
- Data Visualization: Tableau, Jupiter Notebooks
- Familiarity with AWS Lambdas, EMR, Glue
- Nice to Have: Good understanding of AWS Sagemaker
