QA Engineer

Role: QA Engineer Oracle Retail (MOM & RTG Suite)
Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced QA Engineer to support testing and quality assurance for Oracle Retail MOM & RTG applications, including RMS, RPM, ReSA, and RIB, ensuring high-quality delivery of pricing, sales, and inventory solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Oracle Retail applications (RMS, RPM, ReSA, RIB).
• Validate integration points and ensure end-to-end data consistency between pricing, sales, and inventory modules.
• Collaborate closely with architects, developers, and business teams to ensure system reliability and alignment with requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across Oracle Retail and related systems.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and adherence to standards.
• Identify defects, manage logs, and work with development teams for resolution and root cause analysis.
• Maintain testing documentation, traceability matrices, and quality metrics using tools such as JIRA, Oracle SQL Developer, and TOAD.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and framework optimization for QA efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of QA experience with Oracle Retail Suite (RMS, RPM, ReSA, RIB, RSE).
• Strong background in test design, data validation, and defect management for enterprise retail systems.
• Experience testing message-based, service-based, and batch integrations.
• Exposure to AWS or OCI environments (preferred).
• Hands-on experience in SQL and Oracle performance validation.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and CI/CD tools is an advantage.
