Job Title: Business Analyst Healthcare

Location: Hartford, CT

Work Mode: Onsite 5 days/week

Duration: Contract

Visa: Independent Candidates only. No sponsorship

Job Description:

Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Healthcare domain expertise to work onsite at their Hartford, Connecticut location. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring successful delivery of healthcare initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from healthcare stakeholders
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, product, and operations
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Support UAT planning and execution, including test case validation and defect tracking
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, CMS, etc.)
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions
  • Provide ongoing support during implementation and post-go-live phases

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare domain
  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes, payer/provider systems, or health insurance
  • Experience working with large enterprise clients.
  • Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Hartford, CT

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with CVS or similar healthcare organizations
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL, or Visio
  • Knowledge of claims processing, enrolment, billing, or pharmacy systems
