SAIC is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Integration in San Diego, CA.
SAIC is looking for cleared Systems Engineering candidates for providing high quality system of systems integration services, planning, and architecture development supporting an Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance (ISR) program for our DoD customer within Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). This position provides technical assistance and recommendations regarding the integration and implementation of Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations (IO) services within existing and emerging infrastructures between ISR tools, Command and Control (C2) systems/capabilities, and Combat Systems/capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Analyze required system capabilities to determine integration requirements and define challenges and develop plans to address requirements
Use operational experience and technical expertise to collaborate with the Functional Team Lead for assessing requirements, designing, executing, developing, and integrating technical solutions on ISR/IO platforms (afloat and ashore)
Conduct systems / system of systems architecture design, integration, testing, experimentation, implementation, integration, and cyber certification activities
Assist in development and update of ISR/IO systems technical documentation during system development
Interface with various levels of program leadership: project managers, task and functional leaders, and product owners.
Control of interface requirements to reduce costs, increasing efficiency, and improving the quality of the programs and projects
Provide analysis of capabilities and software tools
Support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering teams to develop digital representations and models of the system to support interface development.
Analyze applicable concepts of employment and/or concepts of operation to gain context in the requirements and engineering process
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD and 4 years related experience. Applicable military experience with IO/ISR systems experience is acceptable in lieu of advanced education.

Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, government technical representatives, and other supporting contractors
Excellent written and oral communications
Ability to work independently or in a team collaborative environment
Ability to brief senior government personnel

Desired Skills and Certifications:
Degree in Science, Engineering or Math
Prior Military experience with ISR/IO systems
INCOSE ASEP/CSEP
Desired Experience:
Agile Application Development technologies and capabilities in the areas of software development/application testing, systems engineering and/or integration
Experience using the Rational DOORS requirements management tool
