Job Title: L4 Data Center Technician
Location: Mount Pleasant, WI (with up to 75% travel to other DC sites nationwide)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced L4 Data Center Technician with 5+ years of dedicated data center experience. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in enterprise-scale environments and are comfortable with extensive travel. The team will focus on troubleshooting large GPU deployments within enterprise data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and support large-scale GPU deployments in enterprise DC environments
  • Remove network cables as part of data center decommissioning
  • Run, label, and stage power and networking cables
  • Perform DBD removal (no scanning required)
  • Follow procedures for installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning equipment under the guidance of DC Technician Leads
  • Prepare, stage, and perform basic hardware startups and shutdowns
  • Conduct physical audits of data center assets
  • Monitor systems for equipment failures or performance errors
  • Respond to program error messages and assist in debugging
  • Operate spreadsheet and data manipulation software to generate reports

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of dedicated data center experience
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to travel 75% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training
Additional Notes:
Candidates must be open to working in Mount Pleasant, WI as their home base and be flexible to travel to other data center locations across the country.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $50.00/hr.
