Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Product Configurator to support configuration, implementation, and optimization of the policy administration system.
This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical leads to translate insurance product requirements into effective system configurations.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in configuring insurance systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and deep domain knowledge of life, annuity, and retirement products.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product owners and actuarial teams to understand insurance product rules, rates, and benefits. Configure products, rules, workflows, and forms within the Zinnia system to align with business requirements.
Work onsite with client teams to gather detailed requirements and ensure alignment throughout the configuration lifecycle.
Perform functional testing of configured products and troubleshoot system behavior. Document configuration specifications, version changes, and mapping to business rules.
Support go-live activities, defect triaging, and post-implementation tuning. Participate in agile ceremonies and provide regular status updates to client and internal teams.
Serve as liaison between business, IT, and Zinnia technical support. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in insurance product configuration and systems implementation.
Hands-on experience with building Annuity applications in Zinnia/iPipeline/ -Hexure-Firelight platform.
Interface with NSCC Strong understanding of annuity product structures.
Familiarity with rules engines, workflow configuration, and document setup.
Proven ability to work onsite in a client-facing role. Experience with test scenarios, data validation, and UAT support.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Preferred Skills: Experience working in Agile environments. Exposure to other policy admin platforms (e.g., LifePRO, FAST, OIPA) is a plus.
Knowledge of integration touchpoints like underwriting, billing, and claims modules.
