Description
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Mobile Application Development Project Manager to oversee the delivery of innovative mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms to help on a remote, quick moving contract to permanent . This long-term contract position involves managing cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycles to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire lifecycle of mobile app development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate efforts across development, design, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Implement Agile workflows and manage sprints to prioritize deliverables and optimize project progress.
Monitor project performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges.
Facilitate communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status and milestones.
Ensure mobile applications meet high standards for quality, performance, and user experience.
Utilize tools such as Jira to track progress, manage tasks, and promote transparency within the team.
Drive adherence to best practices in change management and project execution.
Collaborate with external vendors as needed to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on mobile application development.
Strong knowledge of iOS and Android development processes and lifecycles.
Proficiency in managing Agile teams and workflows using tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Solid understanding of cloud technologies and their integration into application development.
Expertise in change management and implementing best practices within project teams.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and tools.
Certification in project management methodologies, such as Scrum or Agile, is a plus.
