Job Details

One of the largest consumer products companies in the world is looking to hire a Media Associate in El Segundo, CA to work with the internal YouTube Paid Media buying team across various brands. This candidate will be in the YouTube space and assist the team in campaign optimizations.

The position requires experience with Google Ads Manager and Paid Search. This will be a 3 month contract to start and will work onsite Monday through Thursday, remote on Fridays.

Highlights of skills needed:

  • Skillful in Google Ads & Manager/Editor.
  • Excel Experience with Pivot Tables a plus.
  • Headlines and Description Experience is needed.
  • Proficient knowledge in Google Ads Manager/Google Editor
  • Campaign setup, keyword research, Ad creation, and bid management.
  • Experience with Paid Search / video campaigns is a plus
  • Paid Search campaign set up is like YouTube within Google Ads
  • Hands on optimizations for our international brands (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
  • Optimizations include Looking at data (within excel) & creating pivot tables to determine what videos need to be paused if they are not performing well against KPIs
  • Creating YouTube Ad Copy for videos that will be supported in paid campaigns
  • Creating headlines and descriptions for videos. Example below:
  • Headline: Monster High Moments
  • Description: Watch the best Monster High Moments
  • Knowledge of Ad placements.
  • In Feed: within search results
  • Instream: Skippable 5 second ads
  • Demand Gen: New AI campaign that runs on both placements.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Assist in translating Media Buying Strategy into campaign builds within the Google Ads platform. This includes campaign creation, trafficking, optimizations, and pacing across key drivers & content series.
  • Monitor competitors and macro trends and suggest campaign optimizations as needed.
  • Make real-time optimizations to maximize channel performance & media efficiency.
  • Collaborate with wider Integrated Marketing Communication teams to drive better YouTube paid media campaigns
  • Assist Sr Media Partners by setting up campaign builds in the system - determine campaign targeting, manage keyword lists, upload creative, develop ad copy, and execute A/B testing plans created by the management team.
  • Support Sr Media Partners on weekly reporting calls for each brand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or related preferred
  • 1-2 years overall experience with 1-2 years YouTube Media Buying & execution required; Toy/Kid, Entertainment or Retail experience a plus
  • Knowledge of YouTube platform, Google Ads, Google s Display & Video 360 Software, and YouTube analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO practices, keyword research, and content optimization
  • Skilled at Microsoft Excel Reporting (calculations, pivot tables, etc.)?
