This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.
Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-level systems and infrastructure. This role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership in project execution, and a proactive approach to system optimization and security.

Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-level systems and infrastructure. This role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership in project execution, and a proactive approach to system optimization and security.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise systems engineering or administration.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Enterprise Systems Management: Design, implementation, and support of Microsoft Exchange (2013/2016/2019/Exchange Online).
- Administration of ProofPoint (Secure Email Gateway, TRAP, TAP, EFD) in multi-site environments.
- Automation & Scripting: Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and orchestration.
- Monitoring & Analysis: Proficient in Datadog and Splunk for system monitoring and event correlation.
- Infrastructure & Security: Deep knowledge of IP networking, Windows OS, Intel-based hardware, Active Directory, Group Policy, SAN, and virtualization technologies.
- Implementation of enterprise security best practices.
Certifications:
- Non-required
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft, ProofPoint, or VMware.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead the administration and optimization of enterprise email and security systems.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline IT operations.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues using Datadog and Splunk.
- Design and implement infrastructure improvements and upgrades.
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and initiatives.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
