Job Details

This role focuses on the active maintenance and strategic support of global laboratory environments. You will act as a vital interface between Informatics and scientific business units, ensuring the security, stability, and innovative evolution of laboratory IT infrastructure while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve security and stability for the Global Laboratory Environment.
  • Design and implement innovative technologies to meet pro-active business needs in labs.
  • Manage requests, incidents, and problems via ServiceNow ticketing.
  • Provide optimum solutions for Data Handling, Data Archiving, and Data Integrity.
  • Install and maintain laboratory-specific PCs, peripherals, network connections, and communication devices.
  • Execute System Imaging, System Monitoring, and Firewall Management.
  • Fulfill service ownership within assigned towers and support the Regional Lab Support (RLS) service structure.
  • Maintain comprehensive inventories for hardware, software, and network assets.

Essential Skills:

  • Expertise in Laboratory Informatics Systems & Support.
  • Strong proficiency in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) and Agile methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in Network Connectivity and Laboratory Hardware maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud Computing, Storage, and Network Industry Standards.
  • Ability to manage complex Regulatory Compliance and Data Privacy protocols.
  • Advanced Stakeholder Management and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Relevant certifications: ITILv3, CompTIA Network+, or SAFe Agile.
  • Experience within pRED Operations or similar pharmaceutical research environments.
