Description

We are looking for a skilled NOC Technician to join our team in Somerset, New Jersey. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in network operations and troubleshooting within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and system functionality across various platforms.

Responsibilities:
Monitor network operations to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for Windows systems using Norton Utilities.
Support wireless communication protocols, including Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN).
Collaborate with team members to maintain and improve the functionality of cable assemblies.
Provide technical support to resolve hardware and software concerns across the network.
Analyze system performance and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency.
Document procedures and maintain accurate records of system changes and incident resolutions.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance operational capabilities.

Requirements

Proven experience in network operations and technical support.
Proficiency in using Norton Utilities for Windows systems.
Knowledge of Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN).
Familiarity with cable assembly processes and components.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex system issues.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Commitment to staying current with advancements in network technologies.
