Job Details

Position: Senior Risk Consultant - End User Computing
Industry: Telecommunications
Type: 12 months contract (possible conversion)
Location: Fully Remote



Please note: This is NOT a Business Analyst / Data Analyst position.



Day to day:




  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify systemic control gaps and emerging risk themes across enterprise environments.



  • Drive intake, triage, and lifecycle management of risk issues (from discovery to remediation/closure).



  • Lead development of risk roadmaps that align end user computing (EUC) practices, data governance, and technology risk priorities with enterprise strategy.



  • Perform deep-dive root cause analysis of complex issues and recommend both tactical fixes and sustainable long-term solutions.



  • Track and report progress of risk remediation activities using dashboards, status reports, and executive-level updates.



  • Coordinate cross-functional remediation plans, ensuring alignment with enterprise policies, regulatory standards, and risk appetite.



  • Support governance forums and risk committees with materials that highlight current risks, roadmap milestones, and remediation trajectories.




Must haves:



  • Strong hands-on and organizational knowledge of EUC (End User Computing) services and their applications.


  • 5+ years in technology risk, IT audit, cybersecurity, or GRC with proven issue management and remediation experience.



  • Strong knowledge of end user computing risks (e.g., spreadsheets, Access DBs, local scripts/tools) and associated control frameworks.



  • Experience developing and executing risk roadmaps to remediate systemic gaps.



  • Proficiency in root cause analysis, control design, and regulatory/compliance alignment.



  • Ability to manage ambiguity and drive accountability across business/tech owners.



Salary and Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $58 - $65 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
