About the Role

We are seeking a Printer Technician / Onsite Support Associate - Level II to provide technical support and ensure smooth operation of printing devices and related systems at customer sites. This role involves monitoring systems, troubleshooting printer issues, managing consumables, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also perform routine installations, execute scripted change management activities, and adhere to IT service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot printer hardware/software issues.
  • Manage consumable inventory; replace toner, paper, and other supplies.
  • Clear paper jams and assist end users with device functionality.
  • Coordinate with HP for branded support and escalate issues as needed.
  • Collect usage data and swap devices with spares when necessary.
  • Execute approved change management activities following ITIL processes.
  • Maintain production goals and ensure compliance with data confidentiality standards.
  • Report customer dissatisfaction to Customer Service Manager (CSM) or Service Delivery Manager (SDM).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
    • Printer troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
    • Basic hardware/software knowledge.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking usage.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Education & Experience:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 2-5 years of related experience in technical support or maintenance roles.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and Linux.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tunkhannock, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
