Job Details
- Team Focus: Middleware integration team providing enterprise solutions with IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Informatica PowerCenter.
- Role: Administer and maintain infrastructure and platforms for Informatica (current version 10.5.3), IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS. Focus on platform management rather than flow development.
- Technologies: Informatica, IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS (Glue, MSK, SQS, SNS). Infrastructure managed with Chef, Terraform, and Ansible.
- On-Call: Weekly rotation among 5-6 onsite team members, with offshore support for non-business hours.
- Skills Needed: 3-5 years of Informatica administration experience; familiarity with IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS; experience with infrastructure as code tools a plus; good communication skills.
- Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite), within 50 miles of office, with availability for critical issues.
- Interview: 45-minute remote technical interview covering infrastructure tools and technologies; no coding required.
- Level: Position is a Level 2; exceptional candidates may be considered for Level 3 with a business case.
