This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. It is hybrid (2 days in office/3 remote). - NO THIRD PARTIES
Our partner in Whippany, NJ, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join their dynamic team as a Help Desk support representative.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting support to their valued customers. Your primary duties will include:
- Responding to incoming inquiries and service requests via phone, email, or chat
- Diagnosing and resolving a variety of software, hardware, and connectivity issues
- Documenting all interactions and resolutions in the company's ticketing system
- Escalating complex problems to the appropriate subject matter experts
- Providing guidance and education to customers to improve their technical proficiency
To be successful in this position, you should possess:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with common office software and hardware
- A positive, helpful, and patient demeanor when working with customers
