IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking to hire a Desktop Support professional who can maintain a working knowledge of our internal computer system. The position will be based at various institution/office locations located in Wisconsin.

Tasks

• In charge of repairing and maintaining thousands of desktops, laptops and other PC devices.
• Installing new PC's and laptops to replace end of life cycle equipment.
• Maintain inventory and properly dispose of outdated equipment by recycling those items per client policies.
• Maintain and close work orders in the client ticketing system.
• Receives oversight from the Field Tech Manager to ensure that policy, procedure and methodology are being followed.

• Ability to multi-task and balance their workday

NOTE: Candidate MUST be a WI resident. No relocation allowed. This is a 100% in-person/on-site job with no remote work. Candidate must have ability to work a flexible schedule and days lasting longer than 8 hours (four (4) 10-hour days per week). Candidate must own their own vehicle for travel to and from site locations. Must have a valid WI Driver s License. When traveling to client facilities the candidate will be paid mileage .51 cents per mile and their hourly wage for travel time.

Skills Required:

• 2 years - Customer service/interaction with users during device setup experience
• 2 years - Imaging Devices experience
• 2 years - Efficiently and independently managing service tickets and life cycling old equipment experience
• Repairing and maintaining many desktops, laptops and other PC devices
• Ability to carry 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours. (This may not be required daily)
• Valid WI Driver s License
