Description

We are looking for a dedicated Network Administrator to join our team on a contract basis ONSITE in San Diego, California. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience with advanced firewall technologies in a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing network security protocols while ensuring system integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Manage and update passwords across network systems to ensure secure access.

Perform operating system updates on Palo Alto firewalls to maintain optimal performance and security.

Implement new security rules to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Standardize operational credentials and configurations for streamlined network management.

Configure and update service routes to optimize network traffic flow.

Modify interface profile access lists to align with organizational security policies.

Update management interface access lists to control administrative privileges.

Validate and renew self-signed certificates to maintain secure communications.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies in production environments.
Strong knowledge of Cisco routers and networking protocols.
Familiarity with Active Directory for managing user access and authentication.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting LAN (Local Area Network) systems.
Demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto Networks products and solutions.
Ability to apply security rules and perform system updates effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
