We are looking for Oracle DBA (Golden Gate) for our client in Dallas, TX
Job Title: Oracle DBA (Golden Gate)
Job Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
  • Minimum 8+ Yrs. relevant experience on Oracle 18c/19c Database Administration.
  • Candidate should be able to quickly understand and resolve issues, mitigate risks and dependencies and the ability to drive projects and resources to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and documentation skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Golden Gate installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
  • Willing to work in 24x7 environment with Rotational Shifts.
  • Actively participate in service improvement plans.
  • Should be able to drive the critical issues and effectively communicate over the calls.
  • Should be ready to work as On-call as per the requirement.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Install, configure, and administer Oracle Golden Gate for real-time data replication and migrations across on-premises environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Golden Gate processes, perform performance tuning, and resolve replication lag, data conflicts, and process failures.
  • Work closely with Oracle databases (RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Exadata/OEM) to ensure end-to-end stability and performance of replicated environments
  • Configuring and Administering the Oracle 18c and 19c.
  • Excellent hands-on experience on performance analysis and tuning.
  • Managing the Database Performance using (AWR, ADDM).
  • Excellent Knowledge of implementation, configuration and Data Guard / RAC (Real Application Clusters) which includes Implementation, configuration, Administration and troubleshooting issues.
  • Knowledge on Oracle Exadata / Golden gate / OEM.
  • Extensive working knowledge of utilities like Data Pump, Export / Import.
  • Good understanding and hands-on in Goldengate tuning.
  • Working Knowledge in Oracle Golden Gate installation, setup and troubleshooting.
  • Golden gate replication performance improvement or parallel setup.
  • Knowledge of shell script relevant to reporting and Oracle database.
  • Should have implemented Goldengate on Heterogeneous environment & Database.
Technical Skills:
  • Prior experience of working in a DevOps / Agile environment will be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge on tool JIRA.
