Job Details

JD:
The Technician will be responsible for PC/Laptop Refresh and Imaging; prepare, deploying, and maintaining workstations (laptops and desktops) for end-users, ensuring that new and refreshed devices are ready for use with the required operating system, software, and configurations. This role involves hands-on technical work, including hardware setup, imaging, software installation, and basic troubleshooting.
Imaging and deployment: Create, update, and deploy desktop/laptop images using tools like Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) or similar solutions, ensuring devices meet company standards and have necessary software and configurations.
Hardware and software management: Manage hardware upgrades, software integration, and the monthly deployment of security patches. Maintain detailed records of refresh processes, configurations, and inventory.
Troubleshooting and support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software, responding to or escalating service requests and incidents promptly.
Documentation and training: Document procedures, user interactions, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Assist with creating end-user documentation and provide training on new setups.
Inventory management: Track and manage hardware inventory throughout the refresh cycle, including asset details, serial numbers, and the disposition of old equipment
