Job Details

Title: Sanctions Compliance Specialist V
Location: Cupertino, CA -hybrid - but open to remote, must work PST

Pay: $160-$164/hr on W2
Contract: W2; 12 months
Client: Fortune 500 Company


Key Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (category 3, 4, and 5), in particular semiconductors and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience with deemed export review, and submission of IVLs.
  • Experience with both h/w and s/w product, part and component classifications.
  • Familiarity with international regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Prefer 8+ years of general export compliance experience.
  • Mac and OS X proficiency is a must.
Education
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
* Experience in reviews, investigation, and resolution of sanctions, money laundering, or terrorist financing issues.
* Experience using SAP GTS screening system and Accuity s Compliance Link
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving techniques.

* Ability to apply sound ethical judgement
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Expertise and experience in OFAC/Sanctions Compliance laws and regulations
* Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with company personnel
* Ability to meet aggressive timelines and in a compliance focused environment
* Proficiency in Client's applications (Numbers, Pages, and Keynote) and MS Office applications (Excel and Word)
* Experience and knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations is a plus
