Seeking a Sr Infrastructure Manager for our client located in Eagan, MN. This is a 5 day on-site position hiring on a full-time basis. This role will focus on ensuring system performance, capacity, security, and compliance while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Design and implement comprehensive infrastructure plans that align with overall business goals and drive key initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance IT systems and processes, implementing changes to optimize technical and operational efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and oversee the procurement of hardware, software, and related services to meet organizational requirements.
- Project Oversight: Manage project lifecycles to ensure infrastructure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and at a high level of quality.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, proactively address issues, and ensure seamless operations across all IT environments.
- Capacity Planning: Evaluate system capacity to anticipate and effectively plan for future growth and evolving business demands.
- Incident Resolution: Lead efforts to enhance system availability and redundancy, ensuring rapid resolution of operational incidents.
- Security Integration: Collaborate with security teams to implement and strengthen security protocols, safeguarding system integrity.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure alignment with organizational policies, support audit efforts, and champion transparency initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and inspire the infrastructure team, fostering accountability, professional development, and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
- 6+ years in an IT people leadership role.
- Possesses extensive expertise in administering and maintaining Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Skilled in managing Active Directory domains and working with relational databases, including MySQL.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and storage technologies.
- Experienced in overseeing both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, with particular proficiency in AWS platforms.
- Well-versed in information security principles and industry-recognized best practices.
- Familiar with Cisco technologies, backup frameworks, and configuration management tools.
- Proven track record of leading teams, mentoring staff, and successfully executing IT infrastructure projects.
