Job Title: Java Developer with AWS
Location: Columbus, OH
Experience: 10+ Years
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract / C2C

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices applications.
  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
  • Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS Cloud (ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, etc.).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Terraform/CloudFormation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with JPMC standards.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews and automated testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Java / J2EE development.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (ECS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM).
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficient in SQL / NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
  • CI/CD exposure using Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and Terraform/CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology.

Good to Have

  • Experience in financial services or banking domain.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Knowledge of React / Angular for front-end integration.
