Key responsibilities:
- Performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Quality Assurance (QA) section of IT-SEDS (Information Technology - Statewide Education Data System).
- Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems.
- Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
- Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases against HTML, PDF, and Excel Reports, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
- Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
- Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
- Execute performance and accessibility testing
- Perform manual testing and data validation
Required Qualification:
- 8+ years of experience of Testing complex Web Applications
- 8+ years of experience of Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
- 5+ years of experience of Advanced Database/SQL Language
- 3+ years of experience of API, JSON, XML
- 2+ years of experience of Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools
Preferred Qualification:
- 5+ years of Experience testing reports
- 3 + years of Experience in API testing (SOAP and REST)
- 2+ years of Previous experience with Zephyr Scale preferred
- 2+ years of Previous experience with JIRA preferred
