Job Title: System Integration/Test Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

About the Role:

Seeking a motivated System Integration/Test Engineer to join the Close Combat Systems (CCS) team. This role supports growth and development initiatives, including Independent Research and Development (IRAD), across multiple legacy missile programs.

The engineer will be responsible for system-level testing, integration, qualification, and flight test activities. This includes planning, executing, and analyzing tests to validate system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports
  • Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs)
  • Coordinate test logistics (security, shipping, etc.)
  • Perform hardware and software testing in lab and field environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and test issues
  • Support system/subsystem integration for both in-house and vendor hardware
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external test facilities


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience (or 3+ years with a Master's degree)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Hands-on experience with hardware
  • Proven problem-solving and initiative-taking abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Systems Integration and Testing
  • Familiarity with missile flight tests, guidance systems, and telemetry
  • Knowledge of Rocket Motors, Control Actuation Systems, ESAFs
  • Experience with environmental testing (e.g., MFC Dynamics Lab, NTS)
  • Exposure to AMSTAR and ALSPES at Redstone Testing Center

Required Experience:
  • 2-4 years in Electrical Troubleshooting
  • 2-4 years in Testing Lab environments
  • 2-4 years in Electrical Testing
  • 2-4 years in Technical Report Writing
  • 2-4 years in Problem Solving
