Job Description:
- The Cloud Marketing Strategy & Operations organization is a global team that serves as the strategy, operations partner across client Cloud Marketing.
- The organization combines strong strategic and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic sense of 'how to get things done' and drive change: advise the CMO, leadership, and cross-functional marketing teams; partner with senior leaders to develop the strategic direction; and orchestrate operational excellence.
- GCM Business Services plays a critical role in leading and optimizing procurement processes for maximum efficiency across the regional and global Cloud Marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the ways of working for a global team of 20 vendor workers, incl. Identifying escalations, issues, and bottlenecks and leading workstreams to improve the workflows
- Partner and liaise with GCM Budget Management Lead, Cloud Marketing Finance, Buying Hub, launch point, Risk & Compliance, and Deal Desk teams to ensure 100% quarterly budget spend are utilized and any kind of procurement / SOW related issues / blockers are resolved
- Document, refine, and strengthen underlying procurements processes, policies, and governance and enhance the systems and tools to optimize GCM procurement workflows
Experience:
- 8+ years working in experience in Finance, management consulting, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of typical business procurement and compliance processes (e.g., opening purchase orders and invoice reconciliation).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to move from detail to executive level strategy and presentations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive and exercise judgment in a fast-moving environment and ambiguity.
- Experience managing vendor relationships.
- Strong collaborator with ideas, energy, determination, and a passion for process optimization who can work with people from a broad range of backgrounds and experience.
- Experience in marketing or understanding of marketing day to day activities.
