Product Manager - CDM Operational Excellence

Customer Data Marts (CDM)

The Customer Data Marts (CDM) team is seeking a Product Manager to lead initiatives focused on Operational Excellence, Data Discovery, and Dashboard/UI development. This role supports CDM data products that serve key business areas.

As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software and Data Engineers, and cross-functional user groups to deliver scalable, high-impact data products using Lean and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a significant product line or multiple complex products.
  • Champion customer success and business impact by aligning product development with key KPIs and organizational goals.
  • Lead prioritization efforts, ensuring focus on high-value features that improve data quality, privacy compliance, and operational maturity.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to design scalable ingestion, matching, and enrichment pipelines.
  • Define and monitor product health metrics (e.g., freshness, accuracy, validity, null/empty rates).
  • Evangelize the platform across the enterprise through demos, training sessions, and release communications.
  • Manage team operations including JIRA boards, resource allocation, and user story grooming.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for operational guidelines, ensuring adherence across the team.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of products that optimize business processes and drive automation.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams to identify and deliver on high-value use cases.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years solving business problems through IT solutions.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a Product-Driven Organization (PDO).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a process-driven approach and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to develop detailed customer, IT, and data-driven process flows.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor other Product Managers.

Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on technical leadership in data engineering or related domains.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data management, and cloud-native solutions.
