Overview:

Every Turnberry consultant aligns with a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns with one of the eight core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Epicor System Administrator, you will join Turnberry's Enterprise Modernization practice and consult in the Digital Transformation service. Turnberry's Digital Transformation service provides strategy and implementation consulting to help organizations adopt modern technology to excel in today's digitally-driven market; in this practice, we help clients determine the modern challenges like employee adoption, industry compliance, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities (and more) in today's competitive market through modernizing the traditional IT ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks

Regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving complex issues

Install new or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, servers, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs

Problem Management including root cause analysis of system problems

Develop and maintain installation, operational, and configuration procedures

Perform ongoing performance tuning, and resource optimization as required

Provide support with developing, testing and rolling-out Epicor ERP solutions, bug fixes and enhancements

Assist with smooth transition of projects from development to production by performing operations activities within the project life-cycle

Tier 2 level support for Epicor ERP system including troubleshooting and solving incidents reported by users, escalating issues to vendors, maintaining user accounts, responding to system outages, starting and stopping servers, installing patches and releases, and monitoring system health

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Computer System Validation, and other IT and external partners to facilitate execution of ERP solution strategies

Track, prepare and report on Epicor performance; make recommendations to improve performance

Maintain compliance to the CSI Quality Policy/System (e.g. Master Control), and all other documented quality processes and procedures, when performing assigned tasks

Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends

Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

5 years of experience supporting ERP Software. or equivalent enterprise systems support

3 years Microsoft SQL Server Database Experience

2 years of experience working in Incident and Problem management

1 year of experience documenting Knowledge Base Articles and SOP's

Ability to interpret and or discuss technical information with a non-technical audience

Bachelor's degree with a technical major and 3 years of related experience or 6 years of experience will satisfy degree and experience requirements

Proficiency in Epicor ERP 10.x system administration, Microsoft SQL Server, Reports, MS Reporting Services/SSRS, Microsoft Server/Client Systems Support

Working knowledge of Service Connect, BPM, BAQ, Virtualization, Routers, MDM', Backup/Restores, Network Printer Administration, Thin Client Architecture, VPN

Preferred:

Experience with upgrading to Epicor ERP to version 10.x

Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Microsoft

Understanding or experience in medical device industry

Exemplify project management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Demonstrated ability to learn new technology quickly

Successfully work collaboratively and with minimal supervision

The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
