Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to join a dynamic and growing global technology team. This is a technical role, responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive test automation strategy, supporting the delivery of legal technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in test automation frameworks and software development, with the ability to drive quality assurance practices across multiple projects. This position offers a flexible work arrangement, with the opportunity to split time between on-site and remote work. Contract length and location details will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the global test automation strategy, including the definition, implementation, and enforcement of best practices across the organization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring comprehensive documentation of results and adherence to established standards.
  • Coordinate and execute the development of test automation solutions, applying a consistent and methodical approach to all projects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of application functionality, documentation, and test tools to ensure robust testing coverage.
  • Perform pre-release, post-release, post-implementation, and regression testing, collaborating closely with the test analysis team to support the full software development lifecycle.
  • Assist in the creation and management of test plans for automation, organize and prioritize testing backlogs, and communicate results to technical teams.
  • Provide guidance to IT management and project managers regarding appropriate testing levels and methodologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Deliver clear and concise reporting on test automation status, issues, and progress to stakeholders, escalating concerns as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in test automation.
  • 1-3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, including the development, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard test management tools such as Azure Test Plans, and familiarity with functional test methodologies.
  • Experience developing within both open-source and commercial test automation frameworks; strong scripting abilities, preferably using C#.
  • Solid understanding of Visual Studio IDE and source control management using GIT.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Playwright, MSTest Framework, YAML, or other open-source test automation libraries such as Selenium, Cucumber, Prompt Foo, or Microsoft Prompt Flow.
  • Experience with off-the-shelf test automation solutions such as Eggplant DAI/Functional or similar tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline implementation, with practical experience integrating test automation into DevOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile SDLCs, with preferred experience working on projects following the Scrum methodology.
  • Knowledge of legal technology applications is a plus.

Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 Hourly 

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
