Title: IT Strategic Sourcing Manager

Location: Smithfield, VA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation:
Salary: $115,000-$125,000 Per Year

Description:
Support the development and execution of centralized sourcing, procurement, and vendor management processes for IT hardware, software, and services.
Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers, resolving purchasing-related issues and coordinating sourcing activities.
Analyze vendor pricing, track spend and supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Contribute to asset management, contract lifecycle oversight, and vendor relationship development.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage sourcing processes across IT categories through RFPs, RFIs, and direct negotiations.
Develop evaluation models and lead complex vendor negotiations.
Support contract reviews and implement processes to ensure compliance and reduce contractual risk.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies, benchmark vendor performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Build strong relationships across business units and collaborate with internal and external partners.
Stay current on IT procurement trends and apply new knowledge to improve processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience in IT procurement, sourcing, and/or vendor management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across geographies and cultures.
Extensive experience with software licensing models and interpreting financial data for strategic decisions.
Proven ability to lead high-level negotiations with suppliers.
Proficiency in standard business applications and working knowledge of IT systems and services.
Self-motivated and independent, with a history of innovative approaches to sourcing and procurement.
Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
