We are seeking a highly motivated SDET II - Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. You will design, execute, and automate tests, review code, and support the delivery of high-quality software. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong programming and test automation experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, enterprise IT environment.

responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:


  • Review business and technical requirements for software applications to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
  • Gain expert knowledge of business processes and supporting applications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new and existing applications.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functionality, performance, integration, deployment, and usability.
  • Develop and maintain test harnesses and automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
  • Track test coverage, progress, and results in the software application lifecycle management tool.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify, report, and resolve software defects.
  • Monitor post-release software quality issues and support rapid resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations for quality improvements.
  • Maintain high standards for software quality and compliance with development processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support delivery and maintenance of high-quality applications.
  • Write, review, and execute test plans and test cases, including automating high-value regression tests.
Skills:


  • Programming / Automation Tools: ASP.NET C#, Selenium, Playwright, TypeScript
  • Test Automation & QA: Manual testing, automated regression testing, test plan development, test case execution
  • Enterprise IT Knowledge: Load balancing, networking, messaging middleware, virtualization
  • Other: Code review, post-release issue monitoring, lifecycle management tools



qualifications:

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS/MIS, or equivalent experience.


4+ years leading or managing testing efforts for enterprise IT projects.


5+ years of programming or test automation experience.


Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems: .NET applications, Active Directory, networking, load balancing, messaging middleware, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere).


Basic SQL skills for data analysis, modeling, and testing scenarios.


Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Commitment to high software quality standards and ability to articulate the impact of defects.
