Desktop Support Engineer (Capital Markets)

We are seeking a Mid-Senior Desktop Support Engineer (4 10 years) with strong recent experience supporting Capital Markets / Trading environments. This role is highly client-facing, requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with front-office users, traders, and executive staff.

You must be local to the NY/NJ area and able to commute onsite four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line helpdesk and deskside support for trading floors and capital markets users.
• Support Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and local applications.
• Manage and troubleshoot Citrix, ServiceNow, Intune, Azure, and Office 365 environments.
• Assist with implementation projects, upgrades, and new technology rollouts.
• Support MS Office, including Excel and add-ins used by front-office teams.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and communication with business users.
• Diagnose and resolve issues quickly in a fast-paced trading environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 10 years of Desktop Support experience (must not exceed 10 years).
• Strong background supporting Capital Markets / Trading / Financial Services users.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Citrix
• ServiceNow
• Intune
• Azure
• Office 365 / Microsoft 365
• Windows 7, 8.1, 10, 11, Server 2012/2016
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must provide a State-issued ID (Driver's License or State ID).

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up and configuring new O365 accounts.
• Mobile device support (iPhone, Android).
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Experience supporting Excel macros, functions, and add-ins.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
