Job Description:
 
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (BA) with 10+ years of experience in PnL reconciliation, revenue reporting, and financial systems. The ideal candidate will drive the development and enhancement of a PnL reconciliation tool, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adjustments, and seamless integration with revenue dashboards. This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Oracle GL, and financial data workflows.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • PnL Reconciliation & Flash vs. Actual Comparison: Develop and refine reconciliation tools to compare flash estimates with actual PnL, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • PnL Adjustment & Processing: Collaborate with finance teams to ensure necessary adjustments are accurately recorded before publication.
  • Revenue Dashboard Reporting: Ensure reconciled PnL data is published correctly to the revenue dashboard, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
  • Oracle General Ledger (GL) Integration: Utilize Oracle GL for financial data reconciliation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • SQL & Data Analysis: Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries to extract and analyze financial data across multiple systems.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between finance, technology, and business teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Process Automation & Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in reconciliation processes and propose automation solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, with deep expertise in PnL reconciliation and revenue reporting.
  • Strong experience in financial reconciliation tools, revenue dashboards, and financial systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for financial data extraction, reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Expertise in Oracle GL and general ledger reconciliation.
  • In-depth understanding of financial products, trade lifecycle, and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve complex reconciliation issues.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders across finance, technology, and risk teams.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills to define requirements and drive implementation.
