Position: Techno Functional Business Analyst (Utility Domain)
Location: Charlotte NC
Duration: 6 Months
Experience: 10+ Only 1 round of interview with the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilities industry domain knowledge familiarity with business processes like billing, outage, meter data, AMI, work management
- Good to have experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP IS-U, Oracle Utilities, or similar platforms
- Good understanding of Utility data model
- Experience with regulatory data retention and audit requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to map and transform data from legacy systems to AWS cloud (e.g., mainframe, Oracle, SAP IS-U)
- Prepare end to end application landscape along with integration patterns
- Identification of any development / upgrade plan for the impacted applications
- Coordinate with application owners to assess the impact and align on the To-Be integration strategy
- Help in training material development and coordinate training to business and IT users
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in large utility data transformation programs to cloud
- Familiarity with data architecture frameworks
- Utilities data model understanding
- Attention to detail with a data-first mindset
- Ability to translate business needs into data requirements
- Agile methodology experience is a plus
