JD:

Experience: Minimum 10 yrs experience with a deep understanding of Observability processes and technologies. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the implementation of a Network Operations Center (NOC), leveraging their expertise to enhance observability, incident response, and overall operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Observability Infrastructure:
    • Manage an advanced Observability infrastructure, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and alerting capabilities
  • NOC Establishment:
    • Setup a Network Operations Center (NOC) from inception to full operational capability.
    • Develop & implement NOC processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures for effective incident detection, response, and resolution.
  • Technology Integration:
    • Integrate AIOps tools and technology into the observability strategy to optimize incident management, reduce noise, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of observability tools with existing systems and applications.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to NOC teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.
    • Mentor team members on observability best practices and effective use of monitoring tools.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and tailor observability solutions to meet specific business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building and leading NOCs, with a focus on observability.
  • In-depth knowledge of observability tools and technologies, such as APM, logging, and tracing solutions.
  • Familiarity with AIOps tools and technology and its integration into observability workflows.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
