Job Title: Adobe AEM Architect Sites & Assets

Role Overview

We are hiring multiple Adobe AEM Architects to support a large-scale digital marketing enablement program for a Fortune 100 financial services organization. This role spans both AEM Sites and AEM Assets, with a focus on building scalable, compliant, and high-performing digital experiences and asset workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of AEM Sites and AEM Assets, ensuring seamless integration across marketing platforms.
  • Design and optimize component-based templates, content models, and page authoring experiences for web delivery.
  • Architect and manage digital asset workflows, metadata schemas, folder structures, and governance models.
  • Drive the migration of legacy CMS and DAM systems into AEM, ensuring data integrity and taxonomy alignment.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and IT teams to enable efficient content production, tagging, and reuse.
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe Creative Cloud, Workfront, and other MarTech platforms to support campaign execution and personalization.
  • Ensure compliance with digital rights management (DRM), brand standards, and legal usage policies.
  • Provide architectural guidance on performance tuning, scalability, and cloud deployment (AEMaaCS or hybrid).
  • Support DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management for AEM.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including Sites and/or Assets.
  • Strong understanding of JCR, Sling, OSGi, and AEM architecture patterns.
  • Experience with metadata schema design, taxonomy, and asset governance.
  • Hands-on experience with AEM 6.5+, including CRXDE, workflow customization, and integration APIs.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Workfront, Adobe Firefly, and GenStudio is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with external systems.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM Sites, Assets, or Architect.
  • Experience with Dynamic Media, rendition automation, and multi-channel delivery.
  • Background in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and hybrid deployment models.
