Job Summary The UI Developer (Coveo Search & SEO) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Coveo search solutions that enhance user experience and search relevance across digital platforms. This role involves deep expertise in the Coveo platform, including query pipelines, search profiles, and UI customization, as well as strong knowledge of SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, UX designers, and development teams to deliver optimized, data-driven search experiences. Ke y Responsibilities Design and Implement Coveo Search Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective search solutions using the Coveo platform. Create and maintain Coveo Search Profiles, define query pipelines, and configure relevance algorithms. Develop and Maintain Search Interfaces: Build and maintain user-friendly, responsive search interfaces for web and mobile platforms using Coveos UI framework and components. Optimize Search Performance and Relevance: Continuously analyze user behavior and search performance to enhance search accuracy and relevance. Implement A/B testing, adjust ranking algorithms, and fine-tune query pipelines. Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Coveo search functionality, ensuring consistent performance and reliability. Provide support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders. SEO Integration: Apply search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to improve search visibility and ensure alignment with digital marketing goals. Stay Current with Coveo Technologies: Keep up-to-date with new Coveo features, releases, and best practices to drive innovation and system improvement. Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal knowledge bases, share best practices, and mentor team members to strengthen organizational expertise in Coveo development. Required Qualifications 8+ years of overall industry experience in UI development or related fields. 6+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining Coveo Search Profiles. Strong understanding of Coveo platform architecture, including Query Pipelines, Search Interfaces, and the Relevance Engine. Proficiency in Coveo UI frameworks, tools, and integration methods. Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and search relevance tuning. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities for cross-functional teamwork. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue). Exposure to content management systems (CMS) and integration with search solutions. Familiarity with web analytics tools and performance monitoring for search optimization. Experience in A/B testing and data-driven UX improvements. Knowledge of cloud-based implementations (e.g., Coveo for Salesforce, Sitecore, or ServiceNow). Certifications (if any) Coveo Certified Developer (preferred). SEO or Web Analytics certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) are a plus. Education: Bachelors Degree
