Duration: 4 months
Location: Onsite in Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Up to $25/hour
We're seeking a Desktop & Education Support Specialist to join our team for a 4-month onsite contract in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical support environment and enjoys working directly with end users and instructional technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional desktop support for Windows and Mac OS platforms.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues both onsite and remotely.
  • Deliver and set up workstations and peripherals; maintain inventory documentation.
  • Support classroom technology including video projection, audio systems, and AV equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs in instructional spaces.
  • Install and upgrade classroom technology as needed.
  • Communicate and report outages and technical issues.
  • Lead complex help desk projects and serve as an escalation point.
  • May require flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years supporting desktop computers in a networked environment.
  • Familiarity with AV equipment used in teaching, meeting, and event spaces.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Organized approach to managing documentation and technical information.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
