We're seeking a Desktop & Education Support Specialist to join our team for a 4-month onsite contract in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical support environment and enjoys working directly with end users and instructional technology.

We're seeking a Desktop & Education Support Specialist to join our team for a 4-month onsite contract in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical support environment and enjoys working directly with end users and instructional technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional desktop support for Windows and Mac OS platforms.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues both onsite and remotely.
- Deliver and set up workstations and peripherals; maintain inventory documentation.
- Support classroom technology including video projection, audio systems, and AV equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs in instructional spaces.
- Install and upgrade classroom technology as needed.
- Communicate and report outages and technical issues.
- Lead complex help desk projects and serve as an escalation point.
- May require flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 2 years supporting desktop computers in a networked environment.
- Familiarity with AV equipment used in teaching, meeting, and event spaces.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Organized approach to managing documentation and technical information.
