Role: QA Tester with Health Information Exchange (HIE) Experience
Location: Canada (Remote)
Job Type: Contract
Key Requirement Must Have Healthcare Experience:
- Seeking a highly experienced QA Tester with strong manual testing skills and Healthcare domain experience is mandatory, particularly in Health Information Exchange (HIE) systems
- Deep understanding and practical experience with HL7 and CCDA messaging standards
- Experience validating electronic health data exchanges between systems
- This role requires working in Agile environments and close collaboration with technical and business teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform manual QA testing for healthcare applications and integration systems
- Validate HL7 and CCDA message formats in HIE platforms
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and documentation
- Provide QA oversight throughout the development lifecycle in Agile teams
- Identify, log, and track defects to closure
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in manual QA testing
- Proven experience with HL7/CCDA messaging
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to interact with business teams and understand healthcare workflows
