Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline system operations, deployments, and workflows.
- Collaborate with software development, DevOps, QA, and IT teams to integrate automation into the development and delivery lifecycle.
- Design and build CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate server provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
- Monitor and maintain automation systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Create documentation and best practices for automation frameworks and procedures.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues in automated processes.
- Research and recommend new automation tools and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in automation, scripting, or DevOps roles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Certifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and automation of third-party integrations.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent.
