BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated PERFORMANCE TESTER Job for an ONSITE opportunity in Olympia, WA 98501.

Position Title: PERFORMANCE TESTER

Location: Olympia, WA 98501 Onsite.

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6-month RTH language will be included

Job Type: RTH and Onsite

Pay Range: $40-$46/hr.

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced (7+ years of experience) Performance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing of.NET Core Web applications with backend batch processing. As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications under varying load conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies for .NET Core Web applications.


• Conduct performance testing of backend batch processing systems.


• Analyse performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements.


• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers to identify performance bottlenecks.


• Create and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools.


• Participate in performance tuning activities to optimize application performance.


• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in performance testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.


• Proven experience as a Performance Tester in testing .NET Core Web applications.


• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner (Must) or similar.


• Solid understanding of backend batch processing systems.


• Proficient in writing performance test scripts and analysing results.


• Knowledge of SQL for performance testing database interactions.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Performance Testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.


• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
