RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Addison, TX that is looking for a Technical Lead with a strong .Net Development background. We need a dynamic individual with technical depth who can all lead and communicate well.
Summary:
As a Technical Lead, IT department, will play a pivotal role in spearheading software development initiatives, fostering innovation, and ensuring the success of our technical projects. Leadership will be integral in achieving our business objectives, enhancing our software products, and ensuring a seamless collaboration among team members.
Responsibilities:
* Lead a team, work on exciting projects, and grow in a collaborative and innovative environment
* Provide technical leadership to development teams, setting high standards for software design, coding, testing, build, deployment, and operations
* Define, design, and deliver technical improvements and capabilities based on technical debt identification, strategic architectural direction, and business needs
* Write high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code
* Bring extensive software development experience to the team, staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, guiding the team in adopting innovative solutions and maintaining technical excellence
* Implement and uphold software development standards and quality assurance processes to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions
* Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions
* Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and other technical teams to define and deliver solutions
* Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices, and to improve other team members
* Assist with estimation of responsible technical area and applications
* Assist in resolving complex technical challenges and provide guidance to team members
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 7-8 years of development experience
* Proficiency in .NET (versions 4.8 to 8, upgrading to .NET 10 next year)
* Strong understanding of Azure cloud environments, including Azure SQL, Azure Portal, Azure app services, service vault, CI/CD, and hybrid connections
* Experience with unit testing (Xunit or NUnit), mocking software, and X unit experience preferred
* Desire to advance in career, self-starter, and ability to lead and improve the quality of the team's work
* Bitbucket (moving to GitLab), Power Builder experience is a standout
* Healthcare experience is not required but would be beneficial
Preferences:
* Looking for someone driven, with strong communication skills, and a good cultural fit
* Open to talking to senior developers who may not currently be in a lead position but have the drive to grow within the company
* Healthcare background would help but is not necessary; The candidate should have a stable work history without frequent job changes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
