Job Summary (Linux & Middleware Systems Engineer):
- Administer and maintain Linux systems (RHEL / OEL) in an enterprise environment.
- Provide middleware support for WebLogic and Tomcat application servers.
- Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Operate within AWS cloud environment (EC2, VPC, S3, IAM) to support infrastructure needs.
- Implement and monitor system health using Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Configure and maintain load balancers such as Nginx or Netscaler.
- Utilize DevOps tools (Git) for source control and automation.
- Manage virtual machines, apply patches, and ensure audit compliance.
- Collaborate within a high-performing team to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Work in a hybrid setting based in Sacramento, CA on a long-term contract basis.
